About Rajashekhara Varman
Rajashekhara Varman was a ruler of the Later Chera dynasty, who is venerated as a Shaiva and Nayanar saint in South India.

He was the second ruler of Later Chera dynasty. The first king of Later Chera dynasty is Kulashekhara Varma (AD 800-820)

Reign year: AD820- 844

Rajashekhara Varman made a pilgrimage to the major Shaiva shrines of South Inda with his friend Sundarar during his later years. The two saints are believed to have died at the city of Thiruvanchikkulam
